We’re pleased to announce another edition of Chicago’s first and only Live Talk Show centered around design and the creative arts. The Show ‘n Tell Show is a late night-style show where the guests are the city’s most dynamic designers, photographers, illustrators, poster-makers and more. They each present a single project in a lively evening full of drinks, laughs and design. It’s hosted by designers Michael Renaud and Zach Dodson, along with SpokesMom, the spokesmodel that is also your mom (played by Seth Dodson).
We’re celebrating our one-year anniversary and are giving the Whistler a break by setting up shop in Schubas’ beautiful performance space.

Along with Emily Clayton, Ryan Duggan, SuperKonductor, Sonnenzimmer and many more incredible artists, I’ll be showing a WPA-inspired print tonight at the opening of Version>09. It’s at the Zhou B. Art Center from 5-10, and if you’re unable to make it, the show runs through May 2.
Zach Dodson, SpokesMom and myself will host another debacle showcasing local graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, graphic novelists and artists. Gapers Block and TimeOut tell the story better than I do, but basically, Zach, Seth and I will be making asses of ourselves once again at the Whistler, this Wednesday at 7pm. Stealing the show will be Nick Butcher, Johnathan Crawford, Rod Hunting, Nathan Keay, Myra Mazzei and Guy Villa.
The Show ‘n Tell Show is a bi-monthly event, where designers of all stripes get together to show their work to one another and talk about design. That’s it. There isn’t commercial pressure, or institutional big brothers watching. It’s fun, and kinda boozy.
Zach Dodson and Mike Renaud are your co-hosts, and the lovely SpokesMom will commentate.
